Treat yourself like a friend. - Dr. Kristin Neff
Mindful Moms – Self-compassion for Moms through Mindfulness Meditation Practice

Ever find yourself wishing for a better balance of self-care and care for others in your life? As parents, we can sometimes put ourselves last. Believe it or not, this may inform our kids that this state is normal, this is every mother’s role. Would you like to discover some tools to help yourself and thereby your kids feel more ease and joy in everyday life?

Mindfulness of breath seems so simple and it can be.  Practicing can help you focus your attention and rest your mind. When we practice mindfulness, we cultivate qualities that are   essential for living a skillful life: we learn to pay attention, calm down, and nurture kindness and compassion that comes from a deeper place.
Making time for our own self-care is like
“Putting the Oxygen Mask on First - before you can help others.”

Successful parenting requires good self-care.  Developing a mindfulness meditation practice brings awareness to the present moment in which, wherever you are, you can shift your attention to the breath, awakening to calm and ease.  This 2-week group will provide you with some simple tools and practices to renew, replenish and restore.
